Legal
Privacy Policy.
This Privacy Policy describes how PineWoodsAI LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use SleepValor — including the SleepValor consumer apps (iOS, Android, and web), related product experiences, and the marketing website at sleepvalor.com (together, the “Services”).
SleepValor is sleep intelligence software: a synthesis tool that helps connect wearables, labs, habits, and history into one picture. It is not medical advice, a diagnosis, treatment, or a substitute for a healthcare provider.
Last updated: September 3, 2026. Questions or privacy requests: hello@sleepvalor.com.
Who this covers
This policy covers personal information we process for SleepValor product accounts and the SleepValor marketing site. It replaces the prior marketing-only stub on this page. Practices may differ slightly by platform (web, iOS, Android) depending on what you connect and which features you use.
Information we collect
Account and contact information
When you create or sign in to a SleepValor account, we use Auth0 for authentication. You may sign in with email and password and/or supported social login options. Account data typically includes identifiers such as your email address, name (if provided), and authentication-related metadata from Auth0.
On the marketing website, you may also send your name, email, and optional answers or messages through the early-access form, the Sleep Scorecard, or the on-site guide. Chat turns with the site guide stay in your browser session unless you submit a form.
Sleep, health, and in-app inputs
Depending on what you choose to connect or enter, SleepValor may process:
- Sleep and related health or fitness data from wearables and similar devices or services, often via Terra and comparable connectors (for example sources named on our site such as Oura, WHOOP, 8 Sleep, scales, CGM, body-composition tools, or lab reports — live connect vs. upload can vary by build).
- In-app inputs you provide, such as how sleep felt, sleep-related scores or notes, Fit Scan / Bedroom Scan results, supplement audit details, experiment tracking, habits, labs or history you upload, and similar product inputs.
We process this information to operate SleepValor’s synthesis features (including views such as the Sphere, Gap Report, and Experiments). We do not use it to diagnose or treat medical conditions.
Camera and photos (Fit Scan / Bedroom Scan)
Certain features ask for camera access so you can capture photos for Fit Scan and/or Bedroom Scan. Photos are processed for the product experience (for example to support analysis or guidance in those flows). SleepValor is not a social network; we do not operate these scans as a public photo sharing feature.
Subscription and payment information
If you subscribe, we (and our payment processors) process information needed to manage billing. SleepValor’s consumer subscription is offered at $10/month under product identifier sleepvalor_monthly (and equivalent web pricing). Payment details are handled by the platform you buy through — see Payments below. We receive limited billing metadata (such as subscription status), not your full card number when you pay through Apple, Google, or Stripe Checkout.
Device, usage, and technical data
Like most apps and websites, we may receive technical information such as device type, operating system, app version, approximate timestamps, crash or diagnostic signals, and basic usage events that help us operate and improve the Services. Exact telemetry depends on platform and configuration.
How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- Operate, secure, and support the SleepValor product and website
- Authenticate accounts and provide signed-in features
- Personalize sleep-related insights, synthesis views, and sequenced experiments based on data you connect or enter
- Process subscriptions and related customer communications
- Respond to early-access, scorecard, support, and privacy requests
- Improve reliability and understand how features are used (in aggregate or as needed to fix issues)
- Comply with law and enforce our terms
SleepValor does not provide medical advice. Insights are for informational synthesis only and should be validated with your own healthcare provider before you act on them.
How we share information
We share personal information with service providers who help us run the Services, only as needed for their role. Examples include:
- Auth0 — account authentication and login
- Terra (and similar connectors) — wearable / health data connections you authorize
- Stripe — web subscription payments
- Apple and Google — in-app purchases on native apps (Apple In-App Purchase; Google Play Billing)
- Hosting, email, analytics, or support vendors we use to operate the site and product
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer (with notice where appropriate). Wearable and health platforms you connect may process data under their own policies when you authorize a connection.
We do not sell personal data
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not sell health or sleep data. We also do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising in the sense of “selling” or “sharing” under common U.S. state privacy laws. If that ever changes, we will update this policy and provide any required choices.
Camera use in plain terms
Camera permission is requested for Fit Scan and Bedroom Scan product features. Images are used to power those product flows — not to build a social feed. You can deny camera permission; related scan features that require the camera will not work without it.
Subscriptions and payments
SleepValor offers a monthly subscription priced at $10/month (product id sleepvalor_monthly on app stores; equivalent web subscription via Stripe):
- Web: Stripe processes payment
- iOS: Apple In-App Purchase
- Android: Google Play Billing
Apple’s and Google’s privacy policies and billing terms also apply to purchases made through their stores. Manage or cancel store subscriptions in your Apple or Google account settings; for web Stripe billing questions, contact us at hello@sleepvalor.com.
Retention and security
We retain personal information only as long as needed to provide the Services, fulfill the purposes in this policy, resolve disputes, and meet legal or accounting requirements. Retention can vary by data type and account status.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to our size and the nature of the data. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. This policy does not claim HIPAA coverage, SOC 2 certification, or specific encryption guarantees beyond what we can verify in our published practices.
Access, deletion, and other requests
You may request access to personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@sleepvalor.com. We may need to verify your identity (for example, confirming control of the account email) before fulfilling a request. Some information may need to be retained where the law requires or where it is needed to complete a transaction you requested.
You can also disconnect wearables or revoke connector authorizations through the product and/or the third-party service, stop using camera features, and delete the app. Closing an account or deleting data may limit or end access to SleepValor features that depend on that data.
Children
SleepValor is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact hello@sleepvalor.com and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
International visitors
We are based in the United States. If you use the Services from another country, your information may be processed in the U.S. or other locations where we or our providers operate.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised policy. For material changes, we may provide additional notice in the app or by email when appropriate.
